Liverpool's hope of
reaching the top four of the English Premier
League gained momentum on Monday night after the Anfield outfit secured a
very vital 1-0 win over Swansea Football club.
The match which saw
Steven Gerrard return from a hamstring injury and being introduced in the
second half was won for Liverpool by Jordan Henderson in the second half.
In a post match
press, Liverpool's manager, Brendan Rogers was optimistic that Liverpool had the
potential to finish second in the current EPL. Liverpool have never been
defeated in their last 13 encounters in the English Premier League games.
Liverpool next play
Manchester United at home, while Swansea City will be hosts to Aston Villa.
