Many football
pundits have continued to argue that Manchester United is on the verge of
decline, if Luis Van Gaal fails to urgently revert to United’s famous attacking
formation.
To be honest, it was all rosy when United began pre-season friendly
matches, winning all their matches, but end up facing a mountain in the name of
English Premier League.
Has Van Gaal gotten
it wrong?
There is no doubt about Van Gaal’s record of success in various
leagues, but he appears to have found worthy opponents in the EPL. Well, I am
not going to join the fray and recommend for a change of formation. With their
current style play, United urgently require services of a forward midfielder
who can effectively link with the club’s terrific strikers. The sooner he will
affect this, the safer his contract will be. After all, United are after
positive results: above everything else
